This year’s Cómpeta ART WALK in Andalusia/ Spain will take place in September 18-20 with 45 international artists exhibiting in 15 different venues in the area.
Every year a thousand visitors – art aficionados from all over the world – pilgrim to Málaga’s white mountain-town Cómpeta to visit this art-show happening to enjoy and buy artworks they spontaneously fall in love with….

Here is the detailed explanation for your application for the :
17th Cómpeta Art Walk
Exhibition period
September 18–20, 2026
(Friday to Sunday)
in Cómpeta/ Málaga.
Application deadline June 30.
A fresh new team of experienced curators and event organisers is bringing new energy, new ideas and even better support for artists this year.
We are looking for contemporary, individualistic and experimental artists working in all artistic disciplines:
paintings, collage, photography, sculpture, street art, installations, mixed media, art objects and more.
And while everything else gets more expensive…
we LOWER the *participation fee to 60€ per artist with own venue /
70€ per artist without own exhibition space
(we provide you with a space in a group exhibition) * .
Group Exhibition spaces include:
• La Fábrica
• Museo de Arte
• Ayuntamiento
• Museo del Aceite
Due to limited capacity, maximum 45 artists will be selected.
To apply, send an email with the following information to:

Please include:
• Your name
• A short artist biography
• Your contact details + website/social media (if available)
• Whether you have your own venue and where
• Whether you participated before (when)
• Send in 5 images of the artworks you wish to exhibit (normal size photos of your art)

Artists are fully responsible for the care and supervision of their artworks and personal belongings during the entire production period of the Cómpeta ArtWalk (September 12–24, 2026 with the key Public Exhibition period of September 18-20).
By participating, the artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the ArtWalk Organising Team against any claims related to damage, loss, theft or injury occurring during the pre-production, exhibition or post-production period of the event.
